The aim of these thesis was to investigate the influences of prelayered media onto soundfields of ultrasonic transducers and the dependence of estimating acoustical parameters. Background of this work was to estimate the intramuscular fat content in the L.D. of pigs using ultrasonic echoesignals. Therefore severeal methods of soundfieldmeasuring were performed, using a thin wire, a steel plate and tissue mimicking phantoms.
